The 23-year old singer songwriter defies genre, blending his influences of pop, hip hop, R&B, country, punk, adult contemporary, and other musical stylings into an amalgamation of inspired sonic flurries. Conceptualizing his different eras as seasons of a tv show, Anella uses the comfortability of media and nostalgia to tap into the specific moments of his life that made him, connecting with a wide audience through his inspired songwriting, experimental arrangements, and ability to evoke relatable emotions that everyone can identify with. This versatility has led to hits such as the 808-filled, rap focused "Don't HMU," (17.5M) the downhome country tune "Lock N Key,"(16.5M TK Streams) and his breakout Americana pop, honky tonk declaration about being young and free "Tennessee Love Song," (15.4M TK Streams).
