Omnipotent Youth Society is currently one of the most prestigious Chinese rock bands. Formed in the 1990s and officially named in 2002, the band's music often features open arrangements that convey poetic narratives, with a style that spans alternative rock, folk, and art rock. In 2010, the band released its debut self-titled album, "Omnipotent Youth Society," becoming a phenomenon in the Chinese music scene for the next decade. In 2020, after a ten-year hiatus, they released their second album, "Inside The Cable Temple," maintaining a remarkably high artistic standard. Currently, it holds the record for the highest sales in China's independent music digital album history, with over 900,000 copies sold.
万能青年旅店是当下享有最高声誉的中国摇滚乐队之一，于90年代组队，2002年定名。其音乐常以开放性编曲承载诗情叙事，风格不限于另类摇滚、民谣和艺术摇滚。乐队于2010年发行首张同名专辑《万能青年旅店》（Omnipotent Youth Society），遂成为未来十年间华语乐坛的现象级作品；2020年，时隔十年推出第二张专辑《冀西南林路行》（Inside The Cable Temple），不仅以其丰富的艺术性获得众口一词的高度评价，目前更以90余万张的销量，保持着中国独立音乐数字专辑的最高销量纪录。
